A New Year
I would like to begin by wishing all of the visitors a very warm welcome to 2012 thank you for returning to Lest We Forget (or visiting if it's your first time) over the past few years I have maintained this site as a tribute to the brave men who served our country during the First World War and I intend to do that well into the future, preserving not only their stories but also any physical material I can obtain to add to the museum's collection.
I intend to conduct monthly updates of the site, with new memorials and additions to the collection. So ensure you visit around this date each month for something new. If anything crops up in the meantime I will be sure to mention it.
Several items from the virtual museum will be on loan to various physical museums throughout the year (and the next few as a matter of fact) so I will be sure to let you know when and where they will be.
Thank you again for your support in 2011 and I hope that continues into 2012. As always I welcome any additions you would like to make to the page (feel free to write up your family's story) and if you happen to have these feel free to contact us.
